Objective:
- Install Benjamin Moore Insulix pool paint with a quick turnaround to be ready for July 4th celebrations.
1. Stripped Old Coating:
- Drained the Pool: Ensured the pool was completely drained and dry.
- Removed coatings by sandblasting the walls with black beauty and floor grinding to remove existing coating on the floor
2. Applied Benjamin Moore Insulix Pool Paint:
- Surface Preparation: Prepared the pool surface by smoothing it out and ensuring it was free of debris.
- Mixed Paint: Followed the manufacturer's mixing instructions for Insulix pool paint.
- Painted: Applied the first coat of Insulix pool paint, allowed it to dry, and applied a second coat as needed.
- Cured: Allowed the paint to cure completely before refilling the pool.
3. Final Steps:
- Inspected: Checked the finished paint job for any imperfections or missed spots.
- Refilled the Pool: Refilled the pool once the paint had fully cured.
- Cleaned Up: Properly disposed of waste materials and cleaned the work area.
The pool was successfully prepared and painted, meeting the deadline for July 4th celebrations.
