Challenge
Scholar was honored to be chosen to help with the rehabilitation of the first phase of their town pool.
While completing this project we also had to rebuild the interior walls of the pool first because they had deteriorated. Then we were able to work on coating the pool with an epoxy pool coating.
Solution
Our first step was to strip all of the existing coatings from the pool to a csp3.
We then had to repair the concrete by using a BASF 1060 Epoxy repair mortar.
We applied a Sika 1a caulk to waterproof all joints and cracks which was approximately 3000 feet.
The final step was to coat the pool with Ramuc Type epoxy pool coating.
