Hamden Maselli Barn

Challenge

This house was built in 1890. Recently purchased by the Town of Hamden from the Maselli

Family, following a plan (opposed by neighbors) to subdivide the 32-acre property to build

new houses. The house wasrehabilitated by Habitat for Humanity and resold to owneroccupant,

and is listed on the State Register of Historic Places.

Solution

This Barn received many structural repairs which included roofing, siding and an entire structure lift.
