New Milford High School Gymnasiums - New Milford, CT - Epoxy and Interior Painting
Challenge
This project consisted of two large gymnasiums. One is the primary gym while the other was the auxiliary gym which had a failing coating on the other side of the ceiling.
This project took us about six weeks to complete which was somewhat of a struggle due to more delaminated coatings than originally anticipated. We also had to make sure that the project was completed on time due to school coming back in session.
Solution
We prepped, scraped, primed and then coated the entire ceiling system as well as painted all the interior walls. The products used within this project were Sherwin Williams products. We began with spot priming with hem bond primer then applied a full coat to ceilings that had drywall. All of the steel beams had a pre-catalyzed epoxy applied.
Due to the customer being so happy with the outcome of the ceilings in both gyms they requested that we paint all of the interior walls with two coats of Sherwin WIlliams Pre-catalyzed Epoxy.
