Challenge

This project has an enormous amount of change orders due to the fact that this is the first phase of a renovation project to very old building on campus. Even though the change orders have piled up the schedule has not been changed and we have been asked to work 6/7 days a week with some sections 2 shifts. The Construction Manager has picked up the OT but the delays of the other trades have made the bulk of this project take place in the middle of the summer crunch. In addition, the labor market has been challenging. Spaces had to be ready and open for the start of classes. The crew has been working 60 plus hours weekly to complete on time. 

Solution

Interior and Exterior Coating for Phase 1 of a renovation project to upgrade lab and office space. 

      -     Project is a LEED Gold Rating 

      -     We have been awarded phase 2 of this project, construction to start Q4 year time frame
